brilliancy...

NVM...moderator privilege. tsk tsk tsk...be respectful of my analysis or I will report you.

Looks like Black's only good move on 27 was to block with the Rook but missed it.
Probably a human reaction to the situation. To me, it seemed black just started panicking unreasonably. Block with the rook and you're still fighting.

Why didn't the computer call your move brilliant?
I asked you politely to stop hijacking this thread with your own analysis. This is extraordinarily inappropriate behavior for a moderator and I can and will report you.

I think it would be more interesting to try to figure out why your move was not deemed brilliant by the computer, since your move seems to fulfill the requirements for a "brilliant" move as I understand them.
- A good piece sacrifice
- Best or near best move
- Side playing move was not already completely winning
Brilliant (!!) moves and Great Moves are always the best or nearly best move in the position, but are also special in some way. We replaced the old Brilliant algorithm with a simpler definition: a Brilliant move is when you find a good piece sacrifice. There are some other conditions, like you should not be in a bad position after a Brilliant move and you should not be completely winning even if you had not found the move. Also, we are more generous in defining a piece sacrifice for newer players, compared with those who are higher rated.

@justbefair
WOULD YOU CUT IT OUT ALREADY?!? THESE ARE MY NOTATIONS!!! I CAN GIVE IT A !! IF I WANT TO!!!

The position can't be completely winning already for the game review process to make that categorization. At least at a certain rating level (lower rating seem to have more leeway)

I don't have engine analysis during game and I didn't make my notation with engine analysis. To me, the move was brilliant (!!) and regardless of engine algorithm, the way I notate something is how I've chosen to notate something.

I was just answering @justbefair and the question about the Game Review code not commenting on the game itself not your annotations
