Show Hint is unstable - Chess Forums - Page 2

Analysis --> Practice vs Computer --> Show Hint stops working during session after 4 or 5 successive hints. That's never happened before in years of use. Same problem on laptop and Android phone. Same problem on multiple browsers. Problem still there after site cookies deleted.

My workaround is to make a random bad move and the computer tells you what it thinks the best move is. It's more time consuming than taking a hint but it's better than no hint at all.

Thanks. I do the same thing—making moves and letting the computer show the best move, or exporting the position to Lichess. However, some of us paid for a subscription expecting it to work, and that doesn’t seem to be a top priority.

Yeah a LOT of times it won't give hints and yesterday it gave me ANOTHER illegal move hint... the hint put me in check. I'm starting to wonder if chess.com is worth what I'm paying for it.

on phone app the hint replay works just on desktop it doesnt

signed up to chess.com a couple days ago. when they are working i really like and use the hints to help me, frustrating that they are buggy. would be nice to have them working as they should.
