Not exactly what I had in mind when creating this forum.  Quite frankly I'm surprised it took this long for someone to post a game like this.

Thanks for submitting.

Pretty good for only 70% accuracy!  Thanks.

TastyLobster

A number of blunders here, but I missed a mate in 1! Can't get any bigger blunder than that. Then I hung a rook. Then I lost on time.

It's a shame that you lost on time.  Even if the hanging of the rook with 52. Rc5+ was unintentional it would have worked out perfectly if you hadn't missed 54. Qb6#.  Also 32. Rxd2!! wins a rook.

Thanks for sharing.

happened in an otb game and I had 20 minutes left to their 20 seconds ._.

Yes it was you who dropped the rook with 41. Rxa5?? but your opponent who turned a clear win into a loss with moves such as the seemingly pointless, although black is still winning, 53...Re3 (53...Ra3! is very strong for black as is the simple 53...Rxg4) and the unnecessary 64...Kb8?! (instead of the easily winning 64...Kxa6) immediately followed by the huge game losing blunder of 65...Kc8?? (65...Ka8 66. Kc7 Rc4+ (or 66...Rb4) wins for black).

Thanks for posting.

Wow!  This is phenomenal!  And exactly what I was looking for in this forum.  One blunder turns a win into a draw (albeit not exactly an obvious move so calling it a blunder is probably unfair) and a second blunder turns a draw into a loss.  Never mind the fact that you had plenty of time while your opponent did not.  And I especially like how black meets 6. Qc8, 6. Qb8 and 6. Qa8.

Colossal blunders indeed!  Thanks.

yeah, I think I was frustrated with myself in not being able to beat the other guy, I was winning earlier and bungled it too, so i decided instead of repeating to play qa5. didn't even occur to me that it was possible to lose that position, but i found the only way to do so short of hanging my queen lol.

Here's the positions. Up on material and I threw it all away xD.

Have a look at the above, Black has just taken my pawn at d3. Im up on material, have a raging attack on the queenside, almost impossible to lose thise, right?

Well

I mean, yikes xD.

Well you're really not up material.  You went up a pawn after 25. Bxd3?? but it's your position where you have the edge.

After black took your d3 pawn on move 24 you are winning.  I am tired at the moment so admittedly I checked the Chess.com engine to see if you are winning at that point and it pointed out that you have a move, but only that one move, which is winning.  You may already be aware of the move which is 25. Nxc8.  It happens to also gain a tempo attacking the queen with check although I don't know if with check is a big deal here.  But the attack on the queen is.

You did blow it though so 25. Bxd3?? is a blunder but I wouldn't call it colossal because it's understandable why you wouldn't want to deal with the potential 25...dxe2 if you ignore the pawn on d3.

Yes KnightAttack1567 you sure threw away all three games (or at least the first two).

Game #1 you missed some stronger moves which led to easy wins but were still winning right up till your failed troll attempt.

Game #2 was an easy win for you and one move turned the game in your opponent's favor.

Game #3 you were up two pawns, not clearly winning, but certainly clearly losing after 15...Nxd5??.

Thanks for the games.
