FiveofSwords: nice game. After BxH7 !? the game delved into positively Byzantine levels of complexity. (Personally, when playing against the French, I've preferred going into IQP lines, primarilly because they do give prospects of aggression and, more importantly, because they take black out of the book early). Open lines are not what French defense playerss usually prefer.
Your version of the Exchange, I'll definately have to look into it closer.
There are certain openings that bug each of us more than any other. For me, it's always been the Stonewall attack and the French Defence. With this in mind, there's nothing more rewarding than the feeling of crushing that distasteful opening with a vicious attack and walking out with a glorious victory.
