I think you were right to do that. Also, technically just sending someone a copy of the rules isn't cheating in case someone tries to say it is..

finally the problem was resolved
but i got fire and brimstone from a certain player i am sorry to say i played in the past
and i think thats because i sent the other player a copy of the draw rules i got from another player ,and advice im to find out an english translator to help him
and the next day the game ended maybe it was my ""fault " i apolozise

Interfering, even in this case, is strictly prohibited. You should mind your own business going forward -- I'm not surprised that the other player had some strong words for you.
Incidentally, publishing private conversations in public forums is also in extremely poor taste. Please don't make good on your threat.

I presumed simsim50 just sent him a copy of all the rules of chess, so I therefore agree with thegrobe on this one..

I tend to play quite long games in terms of time, not really in terms of the amount of moves though.
I think this is easier to understand if we look at how the game went...
black dropped his queen on move 9, and probably should have resigned...but he must have checked his magic 8 ball and saw he was going to go up material via a "pulled straight out of his arsenal" combination on move 22 that gave him a clear win (btw, white could have played qXn bxq kxn and still been up material)
he didn't capitalize on it tho, mostly due due to gaps in technique
both players think they "should have" won, and would likely would rather have a bishop jammed up their nose than to give any kind of concession at all to a player that has made them feel bitter and disappointed
we chess players can be a stubborn lot
