Game started with an opening I hate and had a hard time defending against. I just wanted to get rid of the pawn out of my territory. What's the name of white's opening anyone? I'll have to learn a defense against it one day.

It's a Queen's Gambit Declined, he just chose a different move order (e3 before c4).

I don't really think Rd8 is any better than Nc2+ because his queen still covers d1. And why you put a question mark on Nc2+ is beyond me, really. But gr8 game.

I didn't mean ? as a bad move, but possibly there was a better one. I was thinking maybe rook move first, then knight to lead to a checkmate, but that doesn't work out.
