Never give when there is still material on the board, but opponent winning does play correctly the counterattack may fizzle, but in this case it did not!

This is a club game that arises out of a Closed Sicilian: Grand Prix Attack. I quickly lose an exchange in the opening due to a hasty 13. Qh5? To compound matters, I'm forced to trade off Bishop and Knight for a Rook and pawn, otherwise I'll just drop a piece. When the dust settled, I was down a full piece. My coach is always critical of me in the sense that I typically resign in positions like this. But I decided to play on for a few more moves, to see if I could get any sort of attack going. If Black is able to stabilize, I'll just resign. But Black tried to go pawn grabbing/trying to promote, which allowed me to get my Rook into the game. In the end, Black's Queen was exiled to a low-impact portion of the board, and his Queenside Rook and Knight were non-existent.
