Gaining A LOT of space

This is one of my recent correspondence games where I gain a lot of space by pushing my Pawns deep into my opponent's territory on both sides of the board. I usually prefer open positions, but in this game I had the opportunity to claim space and I took it! Comments would be appreciated. Both of our ratings are just above 1600 and I was Black.

That is a really great game you played! You really kept pushing your opponent around with those pawns and your knight. Although maybe your opponent's time-wasting knight moves were what really cost him the game.

WhAt Kind Of over 1600 Would Play thos knight moves?! I'm over 1600 and I KNOW that people over 1500 wouldn't even think about them!!
P.S. if it was a blitz, then MAYBE it is plausible but still...

I looked at some of his recent games and he is actually pretty good and seems to play as well as a 1600 rated player. I don't know why he played those knight moves, but I still think he is a good player regardless.
