Game-winning move? Or unsound desperado?

Hello people,

It's been a while since I last posted something, but I came across something just now I felt like I had to share, since the position was simply spectacular and it looks like white may have had a winning move (I have no engine to check, so I am not sure) and missed it.

The Dutch Open Youth Championships have started today and there is some fierce competition going on over at the top boards. Such a fierce game is the one I am about to post below. White is a piece down and fighting for activity, since black has decent control over the 2nd rank. It looked pretty grim for white until the following position occured:

Now in this position, I spotted an interesting idea (maybe you have too). White is obviously a piece down and doesn't look like it has much chance of winning back material at the moment. However, with a cheeky little move, white might be able to get back into the game.

I decided to not put lines in this diagram beyond move 2, since I was hoping some of you would run this through an engine and see what they think of the move. Does it lead to a forced win, can white hope for a perpetual, or does black have solid defensive moves that will cause him to win on the long run? I hope you will want to let me know if you've looked at it, cause I thought it was one exciting move to play.

Greetings from Player8-CHAMPION.

P.S: The game did eventually result in a draw (as suggested by the 2nd diagram). Black did not find a way to crack through white's position with white having ample options to retain a perpetual threat. Which means I really hope the move 25. Ne6+ leads to a win somehow, cause that would be spectacular.

In the original position white has a slight advantage (+0.5 ish). After Ne6+ black is winning(-1.56) but if 1... Kc8 white can force a draw.
