I won against a 1800 hundred player.

Hello everyone, this is the game I played against a 1800 rated player on other site(sorry chess.com)

GMatchen

Congrats. When you took Qxc3, psychologically that probably registered as merely a 'retake'. He didn't see it was also a mating threat. This often happens when an opponent "chases my Q away"--I move it to a very dangerous square, but since I'm "retreating" he doesn't see the danger.  You were only down a piece and a pawn (don't know the time control), but if it was bullet, of course you don't resign!

It was a 10+0 game

now that you said I remember that once IM Eric Rosen also lost to 900 rated player cuz he didn't saw the threat.

White is actually quite good in between, but the "last mistake" loses! Greeting Christian

You nailed the point. If a move is made without captures, it usually has a motive. But when a capture is made, you may think that the intent of the move is to capture that piece only (and nothing further).

If you used another website, it was probably lichess. And I heard 1500s on chess com saying they were 1900 on lichess. So this theoretically would about 1400 on chess com

Well the last game you played against me today you definitely play like a 1600  here.

At lichess they are not that weak!

I did beat a 1834 here that played like a 1600 and a 1540 two days ago that played like a 1750 and he destroyed me.

Good game, but if that guy was 1800 then he was either drunk, stoned or perhaps a little of both
!
