Hey guys! check out my last game (https://www.chess.com/live/game/6054601859) I wonder if there's a name for this trap( where black has a dead queen)?

It was my first brilliant move ever played. What are the odds of playing that on a Christmas day wink.png

And finally I wish you all a Happy Christmas!!!!!!!🎅🏻❄🎄

Check out Eric Rosens channel on YouTube. I forgot the name but there is a name for that trap and he covers it especially since he loves the Stafford..

It's actually called the Melenda Blender - notice how you have 4 main pieces working well together to wiin the Queen.

That is not a trap. They are just moves which you play. You get a similar kind of position in the Napoleon attack, Scholar's mate attack position and the fried liver attack. You might get a similar position in different attacks but i cant think of any other attacks which lead to that kind of position now.
