Lets see some crazy kings gambit action where you mopped the floor with your opponent!

From nearly 50 years ago, in 1974:
Nice game, a lot of kings gambits are won because black doesn't know how to defend properly. Don't really see the point of sacrificing the d-pawn on move 6 (i would have played d6) and Bh6 was silly if he isn't prepared to trade bishops.

Here is a fresh game, straight from the oven! I think this is my best one yet. I love this opening.

OK OK...I only have one in the search...but Im pretty sure Ive played more than one. I recall my last one being about the same..it was a quick game.

Good defensive work. I would have been tempted to play h5 instead of d6 in order to hold on to the pawn, although it would come at the expense of development. d6 is a solid move. White seemed to be unsure where his pieces should go, he played d3 and then d4, wasting a tempo and later Qf1 followed by Qf2. You cannot afford to waste time in KG.

Here is my most recent addition to the collection. I played a higher rated opponent this time but that didn't save him!

This was a sweaty one, i was very low on time at the end.
Yes, both me and my opponents play badly but hey, I've recently reached 1400 rating, that's just a few notches above beginner level

This one felt right into the spirit of KG where i got the chance of playing a couple of very satisfying tactics - this is chess when it is most fun!
Here i played the classic line - it is very rarely i see someone defending his pawn with g5 against me. One thing i like about this opening is that you can play wild, risky moves and still win the game - no boring positional grinding here!
This time i was defending against KG. I managed to win but i didn't make a good job at all during the opening. I need to analyse some lines.
Some classical lines. You shouldn't fear sacrificing pieces in KG! Although this guy did serious tactical blunders. I guess some people don't have any experience playing these kinds of positions and their tactical sense gets overloaded

@corum: That's a game well played. Black was clearly aimless when i tried to push his queenside pawns and playing Na5.
"So the King's Gambit has worked really well. White has won the pawn back but has a very strong centre and can castle on either side." - that's the beauty of this opening. Once you achieve this, black's life will be hard for sure. Btw, stockfish suggests wing pawns moves in my games too, but i usually prefer creating play in the center since that's where white is strongest.
I haven't experimented with Bc4 instead of Nf3 since it feels a bit dubious to let the queen displace my king. I saw a blitz game played by Sergei Karjakin where he played Qh4+ and after white played Kf1 he moved the queen right back to its starting position and played calmly and positionally hereafter. But i haven't studied the Bc4 line but i've heard that Bobby Fisher used to like it so it can't be bad.

@kaukasar - yes, I am a big fan of king's gambit. A lot of players say that it is refuted. Well, perhaps at super GM level that may be the case but it has little relevance for players like me who are not playing at 2500+ level or anywhere near it.
I used to think I had to play 3. Nf3. However, this video is one of the ones that started making me switch to 3. Bc4

So far I have a 75% win rate with (1. e4 e5 2. f4 exf4 Bc4) against a 66% win rate using 3. Nf3. I have played fewer games with 3. Bc4 though because I have only recently started playing it.

@corum: There is a great video library available here on KG: https://www.chess.com/article/view/how-to-crush-your-opponent-with-the-kings-gambit You can access them since you are a premium member.
I've watched the one where Simon covers the Bc4 line and i tried it for the first time, hoping that my opponent would play an early queencheck. But that bast*rd declined my gambit, how impolite of him!!
I will give this move order more attempts.
