In the game against alexy777, how far out did you see the moves? I know I need to work harder on seeing combinations of moves. That was really a sharp, fancy game!

I usually look at positions within the basic principles, however, after each of the opponent's moves, I check the position to see tactical moves available. Long answer short, the primary tactical exchange was seen 5 moves before as a possiblity, but if the Queen did not take the sac, it would have gone into a different line.
I recently played the following two CC games here on chess.com following a long hiatus. I'm still rusty from not playing for so long, however I had two great games that convinced me on my way up.
The first is not so much as a sac but a queen trap. I was originally worried about my kingside, but a major trade/ passive sac led to the win
This second game is a real dandy due to the rating of my opponent, who has allowed me to fully publish the following game. Enjoy!
