This was a game I just played this morning. It's not a long game but it's one of the best games I've ever played. It's my 12th Fritz win overall and my first win by checkmate. My handicap in Friend Mode went down to 188. Any comments or further analysis since the game is already analyzed are welcome. Enjoy!

I'm not familiar with chess engines. Do you set the engine to a certain elo strength?

Knight - it adjusts to your playing strength whether you win or lose. If you win more, it plays stronger. On Fritz 12, if you have a negative handicap, it plays harder. A positive handicap, like I have now, even though it's going down, it plays weaker. Right now I have a 175 handicap, which means, strength wise, I have a 1 and 3/4 pawn strength advantage.

You can also play rated games against it where you get to set its (approximate) ELO rating.

Yup. Which I'm getting closer to doing. I can't wait to start my journey towards my goal of "Club Champion" status and my long term goal of "Master" status.
