Looks fairly normal to me. I'll check the alternatives, and see if it gets you a noticeably better position.
It only takes Stockfish 10 til depth 15 to see it. Black has an advantage anyways. The e5 pawn is lost no matter what, so maybe it's a brilliant grab for half a pawn of compensation? I really don't know. In any case though, nice job.
