My first draw with Computer Level 10.

I played this game yesterday. It isn't a very interesting game, but for me it's a major milestone because it's the first game where I managed to draw with Computer Level 10 on this site, which is rated about 2000. I lost dozens of games to this program over a period of weeks before I managed this draw, although in some sense I "cheated" since I looked up the opening moves in a database, which is something I never do when playing human opponents, even though technically I hear that that's allowed.

I knew I was going to get a draw against Computer eventually because my games were getting increasingly longer, up to 25 moves or more with still no more than maybe 0.20 positional advantage being displayed by Computer, before I lost. I look forward to winning increasingly frequently as I continue to play the program and learn my openings better.

I'm playing Black here.

Enough bishop moves for you? If you click through the moves quickly enough, the bishops look like angry wasps flying angrily at each other, repeatedly. Smile

Finally Computer grudgingly gives up its bishop pair in order not to have to draw by 50-move rule to a lowly human.

Despicable, arrogant computer.

Thanks, Shine.

Yes, Omega, we need to put these cold-hearted, arrogant machines in their place. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's an I-can-move-my-bishops-longer-than-thou attitude. Smile
