my first succesful queen sac

now it isn't completely sound at all, but my plan still worked. In fact one move would have had me lost quite badly. still, though, I am very happy.

Bravo. I'd like to remind you though, of the principle, "it's better to sac your opponent's pieces." That is, unless you are absolutely sure of the soundness of giving up a valuable piece, you probably shouldn't. Be careful about confusing a satisfying victory with good chess. I know I have pulled a win out of positions where I shouldn't have. But still... bravo!

Nice game, nice win, but also you should know that this queen sac again was not realy sound. If he had played 11. Bd6 he would cut of line of your rook, you would still get some interesting prospects on queenside but the win is anything but not certein deal. So in future game look a little deeper, its nice win, but on every game my advise is to look is your sac realy sound. I watch lot of my own games where I was prowd on my atacks and beutifull sacs but when I analised those game after the game I found some good defensive chances for my oponents which they didnt see.

7. Na4 wins the queen on the spot.

As you noted, you got lucky that your opponent missed the mate threat.
