OK, the title of this forum post is as far away from humble as it could be. While it may not be Chess.com's game of the year, it certainly is mine's. But I needed to grab your attention - so I could show you my most recent game.

I have refrained from offering variations, although I have annotated with comments of my thoughts during the game. I am still in the process of analyzing it with a computer, so upon request, I could post variations as what "could have" happened.
Thanks!

Perty.  Good example of what happens when black plays my variation of the ruy lopez without asking me first :P

Interesting game and I'm holding many comments till I finish my analysis, but I wondered about this line taking it up from the position after move 27. e5

I was thinking about what I would do in that position.  As you said the computer gave you g5 as the best response.  Unfortunately I didn't see g5 at first glance, but I did consider Qxa1.

Assuming you still would have played the knight move taking on g7.

Here is the variation:

Mmm...I'm confused. What is the continuation after 30. ...Qxa3?

Oh, right! Nice one.

oh yes of course I played it in Rybka and it found that knight move right away.  However, I specified that you would make the same Nxg7 move and it would be a nice game to continue from there.

OK, how about 30. Ra3 is my move of the year =)

Yes Ra3 was a great move, but I think the game was well in hand by this moment.  The main issue I have with the game is the fact g5 was such a great defense and would have like to have seen him make that move.

you mean g6?

yeah, and then white would be losing... the threat along the light diagonal is done, and black is just up a pawn with a great attack on my king.

I like the way you find tactical threats. I, too plays stunning variation from time to time in an average of a winning variation in three games, but the time control I play is usually 1+0 minute or 3+0 minutes, rarely more than that in live chess, but it is a great game anyway.

this was a correspondence game... it took me 1.5 hours to find Ra3 lol
