I'd like to give a bit of background to everyone reading this before I decide to post this match.

When I was a child, between 8-10 years old, I used to play chess. I played a little bit against my dad and a lot against myself. (Yep. I was a weird kid.) When I was 14 (in grade 10) I was made school champion for the next three years.

However, the school itself got bored with chess. During my last year there, I was the only one to play.

At one of the shops in the local area, I was invited by one of my old friends to play a game. I said yes, and we started out. He opted to play white (which left me a little nervewracked because I normally play white) however I think I did fairly well. I have no idea what he tried to open with, however.

For the most part, you played well. However, you missed:

11...Nxf3+

18... Rxf3+ (wins the d3 Bishop because if Ke2 Rf2+ Ke1 Nf3#)

23... Rf2+ Ke1 Nf3#

25... c6 winning the Bishop

You played really well. Why didn't he resign at move 29, since you were a bishop and 3 pawns up?

I think 4.d3 is too passive for White.  I like to take the pawn.
