Yeah, 7... dxc6 was probably better. The computer says 7... Qxb2 was the best move, but I don't think so. That would make me fall behind in development.

Yeah, they are pretty rare in actual games, but they are very common in chess puzzles and chess books. You have to remember to look out for them. I believe this is my fourth smothered mate. This is my first one in live chess though. 2 were in online chess at chess.com and the last one I got on redhotpawn.com.
I'm sure there are some mistakes, but it was still a very fun game! Comments would be appreciated.
