hi to all visiting this forum. i appreciate if you can post some comments about the game you just watched and contribute to the debate about studying what is better, the endgame or opening?

way to capitalize on 4.c4...,and 23.b3!.i saw the end there.and i think 19...b5 deserves two ?'s.he's up a pawn,why not take the bishop with plenty of initiative?verdad?also i think that your 15,-20th moves were consistent with the overall idea of taking it out of theory...no por nada pero kasparov hacialo asi against blue junior.;)

It is a known fact that for players under 1400, openings are better to study.  For players over 1500, endgames are far more valuable as you can destroy opponents with lost positions in endgames if you have endgame knowledge, while all your loss in opening knowledge will lead to is a slightly inferior position if you are playing black.  If you are playing white, just play Ruy Lopez Exchange Variation and you're in an endgame already!
