This looks strikingly similar to Bobby Fischer's checkmate in the Game of the Century,
About the Fischer game, the White king is swimming in deep water without any help.
About the Checkmator 11111 game, the king is surrounded by own pieces.
Take a closer look at the mating pattern.
Note in both positions is the king bishop redundant.
I know what you mean.In both mating combinations are a rook and 3 minor pieces working together as a killing team. But the mating patterns are very different.
You can be proud the game against Provex is a nice one!
Basically I was talking about the mating position, not the actual game itself:
My game: Mating piece bishop, protected by rook, and knight blocking off escape squares
Fischer game: Mating piece rook, protected by bishop, and knight blocking off escape squares.
Basically my game's mating position looks like a diagonalified Game of the Century mate.

No(post 100)but it's your party.

Another game:
Wonky king position.
Two bishops is nice but how about two knights?

this is a beautiful smothered mate:

I found it surprising that a pawn was the one which delivered the mate amidst the heavy attack by the rook, bishop and queen (was referring to Bryan's post).
Quick analysis reveals only a mistake, it's certainly one of the stranger checkmates I delivered. And yes, I dropped the king, it was intended to be a kingside castle, but even in hindsight of this, the position was still strong
