If Qd8 then i lose the queen anyway after Nf7. Better to trade for at least some material.

I loved this one. Up to move 11 it was exactly the same moves as my favorite historical game of all time, which I know by heart. The deviation did not end in checkmate as in the original game, but it resulted in a convincing win nonetheless. I believe you can find which game I'm talking about, it's a chess forum afterall.
