Post your best miniatures here

Fooling around with the Alekhine defense squirel variation. Apparently, an objectively really bad opening, but at my (opponent's) level, easy to push pawns too far against it and end up with weaknesses everywhere.
Here's a 20-move miniature with a question: would it have been better to play 15.Rd7, capturing White's queen instead of the e7 and f7 bishops? My opponent eventually resigned in the face of 20...Kb8 21.Qa7, but perhaps 15.Rd7 would have been a more economical means?

ed1975 that's what happens when a player brings the Queen out too early. Nice royal fork (11...Nxc2+)

Another one for the Birds.
That Nxh2 shot is one that Bird players should know. It happens a lot in these sorts of position.

Winning with an unsound move. A very instructive position at move 27 arising from the Sicilian Najdorf.

27... Rxc3! 28. Rxa4 Nd3+ 29. Kb1 Nxf2 with an extra piece.

Although better than what was played in the game, it's not winning after
27.. Rxc3 28. bxc3 Qxa3+ 29. Kd2
The winning tactic is:
27.. Qxd4!!
Then if 28. Bxd4 Nd3+ Forking the white queen
Also if 28. Qxd4 Ne2+ Also forking the white queen
Either way black would be up a rook.
I was playing someone rated about 350 points higher than me and saw he had never faced the French Wing gambit. I had just watched a video on it so I figured I'd give it a shot. He played it about as poorly as you can. I can't believe he allowed the classic bishop sacrifice and then didn't know to bring his king out to g6.
9 move checkmate....tried to remove opponents name hope he doesn't take offense.
