This one at the club tonight. Two weeks ago I could not beat this guy. So this was extra sweet.
Good game, but a miniature. A miniature is a chess game of 25 moves or less for each side.
Agree with chadnilsen.
And adding; So what a draw? It is not interesting, nor insightful, nor educational, nor enjoyable.
Good one teorems!
I always love when a player is willing to give up his queen! =)
Thanks but i didn't do much, it all just happened
gchess33, Just my 2 cents here ; 25.Be5 also wins and Black has less counterplay.
Thanks for your feedback. At that point I was really low on time so I was playing moves as quickly as possible.
lordcashflow,
This is not a good game - all of it was lousy, even by the standards of your low rating . And it wasn't even a miniature. Get a clue man! Your long, boring, worthless, games are not welcomed here.
I played this very short game on a different chess site recently:
Not a good game, but it's always good to be aware of these sorts of tactics.
by transposition, I see this sequence once a month or so and have played it close to a dozen times. Actually 6. Qa4+ . . . 7. Qxg4 is how it's played (which results in occasional resignations), so the lines are def transposed although it goes like this more or less; have fun with it guys.
No, it was a poor relative of the Vienna, the English . I've had plenty of Vienna (1.e4 e5 2.Nc3) miniatures from the White side - it's a great opening for wild and crazy lines. Unfortunately people seem to be becoming wise to it and playing the 3...Nxe4 line which can be a bit dull if Black wants it to be.
Nice one sup_bro!
