A couple of games, both involving an interesting sacrifice. (I know the 2nd game is too long for a miniature but I guess it deserves to be added to my best games)

Deserves?? What criteria are you using to decide if your game is a miniature or that it should be included in this forum?
It’s too long (even you admit that), not a brilliant game, and you had better moves in many positions.
If this last game is a “best game”, it doesn’t say too much about your good moves either.
Please stick with your keeping your games 25 moves or less. Thank you!

The first game is pretty much how I play with White against the Scandinavian, I guess because I play it so often with Black I don't go for the main lines with White either.
Also was White in time trouble how could they not see the Rh4 threat after Re4?
The second game the exchange sac is quite interesting since the compensation is more positional than tactical, frankly I would've second-guessed myself before going for it, good job.

How long do you want to continue this mudslinging luke? Is it worth your time?
Meanwhile, back to French Miniatures ....

Don't know man, maybe when you stop being an a$$ to people in the thread?
Oh lukeluke!
You seem to be the expert of everything! ; )

And now back to French miniatures!
Question about a French trap?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Can anyone confirm that this is common trap or not? I have not seen showcased or even discussed in any opening books.
I don't know how common this particular line is. But I do know that 9.Rb1? is sort of an unnecessary move, as white's a1 rook can usually be let go in favor of a quick attack. The second pawn grab, 7.Qxh7, is also a mistake. Instead, Qh6, protecting the c1 bishop avoids this whole mess that white got into in this game.
Even I've sacked that a1 rook and gotten wins with white in this line, and I don't know what I'm doing!![]()
The computer says I made a brilliant move but I don't think so, I think it was obvious. And obviously, I play weak chess, so, whatever. But it was blitz. I do a little better slower.
A quick 3|2 v/s a streamer
Nice game.
2.e5 is known to be weak against the Scandi. Don't know why players insist on re-inventing the wheel, instead of just taking the pawn, 2.exd5. I played a funny blitz game against this line. White tries a bizarre tactic with 6.Bxf7+, but it backfires big time.......
Thanks. This was an interesting game, white really thought a queen and bishop can break down an entire army, got immediately punished
Always nice an IM win
