Yep, as spotted in the chat ...a6 is necessary before Qc7 in this system.
#BCM2 - Pulpofeira vs. MSC157
[Spoiler alert!] - Computer analysis. Pretty tactical game in my opinion. Lots of (unexplored) ideas - only Sicilian can bring that.
[Spoiler alert!] - Computer analysis. Pulpo totally crushed me here. First win for him in BCM2, round 6. The same happened in BCM1, too. Gonna be interesting in the future games. Now it's game 7 next week and I'm having white again.
Go Pulpo!!!!
I liked it - although many things were missed by both players (that pin could have been both played and avoided several times before it actually appeared on the board)
Kg2 at the end is pretty!!
Awesome to see such a support for Pulpo. Hey NewArdweaden, hopefully you're cheering for me otherwise...
Your reaction reminds me of what I wrote in the other thread re. the support Alekhine gets in our match...
Thanks! Hey, my wife roots for you, Miha! Just noticing, after 32. Ke3 could the intermediate 32. ...Rxg3+ be more desiderable? I was about to play Ke3, only noticed Kg2 at the last moment.
It's remarkable how you were calculating that variation in severe time trouble anyway. At first sight I couldn't understand you giving the exchange there.
MSC, why did you retreat your bishop to c1 and not to e3?
Pulpofeira, allowing Nb5 wasn't such a good idea maybe...
