I don't think this statement is entirely correct, for example:

 

13....c4 14 Bxc4 Qxc5+ 15 Qd4 Qxd4+ 16 Nxd4 Nxe4 17 Nxe4 Bxd4+ 18 Kh1

 

White for choice, I think. Nevertheless, a good game, thanks for posting.
