Sometimes the BEST move isn't the best move

So if you're so sure you can beat me, why not prove it? I dare you. Also, there's really no reason to be so condescending. You aren't that great a player.

immortalgamer

I never professed to be.  I just don't see the point in proving myself to you when I've already proved myself to get the rating I have.  It isn't condescending.  You suggesting that you'd like to see if you can win against a style like mine is condescending.

Observe post 21, saying it would be "silly" for me to play you. Condescending. It is not condescending, however, to wish to play chess with somebody higher-rated than myself, that being a great way to learn more.

I like you style, that opening was very clever. I almost always play sicilian and indeed it breaks my heart to castle queen side.

dc you can learn by playing people 100 to 200 better than yourself. Playing against a 2000 will only teach you to dislike chess ;)

CoconutTiger

appretiate your guts for playing 2.h4

immortal gamer there is no reason to be rude, dc1985 askes you to play him in a match (which on its own is already lika a friendly handshake). and you say he plays too bad to play with you. this to me seems childish and a really unfriendly way to say no to someone.

its not about ratings, its about being atleast a little bit friendly :S.

very interesting game. The moves on the board gave you the win against who u were playing.Sidelines dont win the game at the time. My toughest games are when im taken out of my comfort zone. so bravo!!!!!

I must admit that I spent quite a bit of time puzzling over that first move. I sometimes find myself over reacting to new opening lines and wasting time. Guess this game shows the importance of composure. Moves like that motivate me to "prove" why the book moves are best.

I agree.  I'm sorry.

No need to be rude, immortalgamer, and I do take offense to that idiotic statement. Perhaps you should deflate your gigantic head, and climb off your pedestal. I'm sorry immortalgamer for what I said.
