As well as a major mistake...I recommended 11-,Be6 instead of Re8 but now I realized that it would met 12.f5 Bxb3 13.fxg6 Be6 14.gxh7+ Kxh7 15 e5+ Kh7 16. Ng5 with a winning attack.

Apparently there is also a Halasz gambit with e4 c5 d4 cxd4 f4. Do both the c5 as the e5 versions have the same name or should one have a different name?

Attila Schneider who was one of the leading theory epxert of the Sicilian had some correspondence with Halász about this gambit. From what I saw, the original version is 1.e4 e4 2. d4 exd4 3.f4. If this gambit was came from a Sicilian position, Schneider would surely mention it in one of his books.

Ok that makes sense. What would you say are pros and cons of a pawn on c7 after White's f4 or a pawn on e7. No pawn on e7 allows the bishop to come to c5 like in your game, but if the pawn can come to e6 in the Sicilian variation it might provide more protection against any f5's.
