You have to know the actual lines of the more positional openings like the Grunfeld and such, not knowing and playing against a stronger opponent without it is just a lost cause.
One or two blunders can completely throw the game against higher rated players, as opposed to playing sub-1000s where you could be losing until the 40th move and they'll blunder their queen for no reason
Thanks to the other guy for playing me, it's very rare for a 2000 to even play a 1300 for no reason, let alone twice
