Ok so I was playing their cap. and yet again I won the friendly game after (wish I'd notated that as well becasue it was tought he'd taken a lot of my pieces, a hell of a lot and all I'd taken was like two knights and a pawn he'd put me in check a few times but allowed me to push a pawn up and at the same time use his pawn to block his queen anyway. My pawn covering h and f 7 as he'd castled and them my queen booming into h7 for the mate) Anywho heres the real game I was white in both.

Nice game! I like the Ruy Lopez (My favorite opening actually)

This is the main line of the Ruy Lopez -

True I never really move the bishop back just because the knights already defended so the whole a6 push is just black not trusting the b pawn. Also if you move back then just b5 and the bishop is pushed right back. I use that a bit just to create some movement and tempo you know all that jazz.

I definetly like Black's position after 11 fe. ... Re8 was horrible. Bh3 in my opinion was much better with Qg5 to follow

yea i didn't really get it just becasue it sacks off defending the pawn and does nothing more Bh3 would have been the best yep. Not sure if that would have made me change my plans as such as i was kinda working towards plan b
