Correction: Legall's mate.
What mate is this called?

Correction: Legall's Checkmate :)

Correction: Legall's mate.
I'm not sure this correction is warranted.
There appears to be a lot of uncertainty as to the spelling of Kermur Sire De Legal's (or Legall de Kermeur's) name. Chessgames.com has it listed as Legal (with a single l) whereas Wikipedia seems to flip-flop between the two. Sometimes his name is also spelt with an accent over the e.
Either way, we cannot be sure and as such, this correction is perhaps not a correction at all.

Legal's stalemate?
XD

Legal's mate is based on 3 concepts,
1. A knight of f3 ready to go to e5
2. A bishop of c4 ready to go to f7
3. Either another knight or another bishop to deliver the final blow (legal's mate can also be done with a bishop)
In addition, of course, if black plays Ng8-e7, a Knight and a Bishop can check mate by themselves :)
I played this game and checkmated a guy in 7 moves. I would like to know what mate I played.
