The second one is actually a common gambit. It's one variation of the Queen's Gambit (though not the most popular variation).
trying to outdo tals sacrifices by saccing my king was pretty stupid but it did save my b 5 pawn from capture
probably asking to draw to a 200 rating points lower opponent who was down a piece.

Once I was playing a game where I was up an exchange in a tournament that in it I had won the same person before. SO I started to relax, he won the exchange back, and ended up winning the game. (bleep)
