I don't play chess when I've been drinking for the same reason I don't play poker while drunk: I get cavalier with my play (fast and loose) and lose.
hehe. I love to drink and play! It always has horrible consequences but I don't know.... I guess I get Irish battle rage when I drink and I take it out on the board instead of starting brawls in the bar. Sometimes I get moments of genious because I am less inhibitted and go all out.
Haha didnt see the rook until it was taken. Good game! though i have to say he did evened things out for you by blundering a rook and bishop back for the queen

Well... it was almost a year ago, lol, but probably a lot of beer, maybe with a G&T to finish it off.

I'd say something derogatory back at you, but I don't want to stoop to your level. I simply shared a game I found amusing and which I thought other might get a kick out of too, so, to ignore my first comment there, um, go frak yourself :)
Hardly the best game I have played... not doing especially well, and then I played a few moves after coming home drunk and it REALLY went down hill. But I think I played a pretty damn good endgame considering how badly I blundered away the Queen, and somehow I won it!
