The bishop is better in open positions. The knight is better in closed positions. The bishop is better in late endganes. The knight is better in forks.

Have you seen Magnus play with the knights? I think it’s fair that both have a value of 3 points
The bishop is valued slightly higher than the knight by most people, but they're close enough that the standard values work fine as a basic estimate.
The Bishop Should be Worth More Points Because It Has More Mobility, Often Dominate Board, Unlike Knight Who Can Just Be Trap By Bishop If it's 3 squares away from night for example, if a knight is in h4 it can easily be trapped by bishop if it's on e4.
