1-minute Puzzle Rush

Since we already have both the 3 and 5-minute variants, as I'm a big fan of bullet games I was wondering if a 1-minute puzzle rush would be interesting.

Maybe it would be too fast, or really not that interesting at all? What are your thoughts on this?

I have never played this variant, but I'm interested to try it. It is really fast but what should be happening instead of loosing some points.

Yeah, you should try it! You can either play it online against other people (with a separate rating) or play it alone. It's really nice since it forces you to look for tactics (harder as you progress through the game) with some time pressure.

ChessAlliance

I think it would be a good idea.

And then fans of rapid time controls will petition for a 10-minute puzzle rush and 15-minute puzzle rush. Then, some members will decide that the default time controls for puzzle rush, shall match those of live chess. Then, the ability to customize the time control for puzzle rush will be introduced. And then, increments in puzzle rush will be introduced, and so on.

For the first minute you're usually doing really simple patterns like back-rank mates, so it hardly makes sense, unless you like doing nothing but those beginner puzzles.

Yeah, but's pretty much the difficulty of the puzzle battle features on chesskid.com and chessb***.com.
