10 year old stuck at 1900 rapid rating

I think the youtuber and IM Gothamchess could be what he is looking for, he is a fun and entretaining youtuber, and with his help I got from 600 to 900 in a very short period of time and he helps people across all ELOs.

Hello,
My 10 year old has been playing chess since he was 4. He is now 10 and his rating is 1910 in rapid and has been around 1850 and 1930 for last 10 months. He only plays 10 minute rapid games. Is there anything he can do to get out of this plateau? He doesn't have a coach and is completely self taught by watching chesskid videos. I tried getting him a coach and he didn't enjoy being coached. He is not into reading chess books. He finds them boring. He does lot of puzzles. His chess.com puzzle rating is 3100. Any suggestions to help him get out of this plateau? Or it it just something that he will get over with time?
He seems like a talented player. Have you tried taking him to over-the-board tournaments? He seems like he could aim for a title.

I would say join a irl chess club for sure, play OTB scholastic tournaments, but maybe don't push him too hard unless he wants to improve. You don't want him to get frustrated with your attempts and quit chess.
Besides as many OTB chess opportunities as possible, let him know that if he really wants to improve and go to the next level he needs to work hard at it.
I also recommend chessable courses, they have multiple classic books turned into digital chess courses that he might like better then books

I think that you should contact some of the professional chess coaches listed with chess.com to see what they advise. Some of them offer summer training camps that might be fun/beneficial for your son.

Yes, I do take him to OTB rapid tournaments like 15 minutes and lower. I don't take him longer time controls like 30 minutes or 60 minutes for now as he has other commitments like tennis, soccer etc. He does great at shorter time controls and with longer time controls his performance drops and he is not used to taking a long time to think and gets bored when his opponent takes like 5 minutes to make a move.

What is an IRL club? He plays 1 OTB rapid tournament a month for now as he also plays other sports.

Sorry, I meant "in real life" that's what irl means, lol. Like joining the school chess team, or if he's homeschooled join that chess club. Just make sure he's having fun, whatever you end up doing, so he'll want to get better and keep playing
