1000 ELO. Am I now an intermediate?

Beginner is someone who just started playing.
A low rated person who has been playing for a while...maybe a year...that person should simply be classified as a terrible chess player.
am I terrible if I am 1000 rapid after about 4 months??

4 months, may not be long enough. Perhaps a sliding scale. What is the beginner rating here? Below what?
After 5 years, your rating would definitely be considered terrible with not sliding. Assuming a start rating of 300 and 1200 cut off, that means 900 points divided by 60 months . That would be 15 points per month at 4 months anything above 360 would not be terrible.
I would be terrible.

You're not terrible with a beginner rating when you have been at it a short time. Keep working on elementary tactics and you'll soon be an advanced beginner.

I have been playing for years. I could play better if I thought instead of making moves by reflex, but I do not want to think.

I know one player with 15000 games and rapid rating of 500
There is such a thing as bad practice.

Been playing rapid 10 mins for a while and was stuck at 700 basically the entire time. Started doing more puzzles and reviewing my games more and have now shot up to 1000 elo.
Can I now put "Intermediate Chess Player" in my instagram bio?
Not really, intermediate is 1200+
