i needed speed control in my games. every now and then i would hear that dreadfull Kitchick-Achick sound of the maracas announcing time is up...
so i played 1000 bullet 1min games... and it exploded my openings and end game techniques...

I knew this has to be a mistake. :)
Edit: Analyse every longer blitz you play, common mistakes... (I see you play faster TCs). This should improve the rest of the game (in my case did).
The smallest inaccuracy can lead you to utter destruction. The best thing is to do is try not to create weaknesses in the pawns. sed.
sometimes weakening the pawns just leads to piece swopping, and i need respect in my games... not just swopping and out time the game...!
and just to let you know attacking weak squares does not always lead to piece swapping, it could create more weaknesses until your opponents position crumbles. if it does lead to swapping you will win the exchange, so either way you look at it.
Accept that bullet is for entertainment only. I've played close to 30k bullet games and it really just strengthens weaknessess in my play. But then again I nowadays tend to play just for fun :)
Every player makes mistakes. Developing players learn from their mistakes.
Pawn formations dictate the strategic goal in your games. Learn the thematic ideas in the openings you play.

We dont know each other, just the internet to communicate and then there is chess; i suppose the one thing we have in common.
Now, without just trying to destroy each other in games, what else can we bring to the table that can help the next person to improve their game?
