Congratulations! Keep at it!

Looking at your games it seems to be time that you study the basic opening principles. Not specific openings but the basics behind a solid opening and how to development your pieces. Also start to play after a plan.Reading Yasser Seirawan's Winning Series chess books would benefits you I think.

Congrats!

Maybe if you play some games without time limit (at least with a minimum of 1 day per move) in Daily Chess you have time to contemplate the situation on the board and not be pressured by time. Try an opening or a response to an opening and study the situation after every move. What can the opponent do? What can you do to A; strenghten your defence and B: put pressure on the opponent. And study the variations of that particular opening until you know why it is good or bad to move a piece to a particular field.

Being pressured by time does'nt improve your game i.m.o.

I agree with Pikelemi, but in my opinion more importantly is that based upon your last game you need to stop hanging material. Both you and your opponent blundered queens, had you kept your queen you would've undoubtedly won (Same for the opponent). Successfully do this and I think you'll go to at least 1150. After that I'd try tactics, but then again I've been grinding for a 2000 tactics rating and my standard rating lags way behind. So maybe don't do that many tactics wink.png. Good Luck!

Your next goal should not be 1500, it should be 1100 or 1200 at best.

Going from 600 to 1000 is easy, but the difference between a 1000 and a 1500 is huge!

The difference between a 1500 and a 2000 is insane. A 2300 would easily crush a 2000. And a 2500+ would crush a 2300.

It is not that if you jumped from 500 to 1000 it means that you will easily jump from 1000 to 1500. If that was the case the best players in the world would have ratings of 50000 and not 3000.
