In the scid discussion forum on this site, i have found that four years back you were an active member of discussion, you have given there the font size new fonts color change etc etc. even now you are not completely away from chess. then.........

in one of your posts you said you had retired from chess. can I know the reason?
Yes, each time you wish to covnert a file, you will need to either
edit that batch file,
or create a new one,
or don't use a batch file at all, and simply execute that command yourself from the command line.
Another alternative, I suppose, is to use a generic filename in your batch file, say my_games.pgn. You would then first rename the file you want to convert to my_games.pgn. (And probably rename it later, once it's converted.) But once you do that, the batch file would then always work, and you'd never have to edit it again.
Whatever's easier.
