15|10 Forum Tournament (Round 1)

I've seen tournaments of 90+30 and 30|0, but not 15|10, which is slow enough for thinking but fast enough for scheduling it easily, plus it is one of the best rapid time controls. So, I created this tournament! The games will be unrated. There will be 8 players in groups of 4. In each group, everyone will play everyone twice, which means that there will be 6 rounds. From each group, the top 2 advances to the knockout section. In case of a tie, the tiebreaks below will be used in the following order:

1. Head-to Head-score (total points scored in games between the tied players)

2. Sonneborn-Berger score (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonneborn%E2%80%93Berger_score)

3. Number of wins

4. Playoff (2 games of 15+10 between the tied players. If still tied, 2 games of 10+5. If still tied, then an Armageddon game of 10+5 will be played, where black plays down a pawn. If it’s a draw, black advances)

In the knockout section, the pairings will be the following:

A group first place vs. B group second place

B group first place vs. A group second place

How long does 15|10 usually take ? I have never played it so idk how long it is. If it's below 45 mins/game I’ll probably join

Maximum 1 hour but usually it takes much less. Usually it's around 30-45 minutes
