2022 Candidates. Ding Liren just finished his 26th game of April, he has enough for Candidates.

He now has played 30 total games in the last year, the amount needed to qualify for Candidates tournament.   He had to play 26 games in April because all games had to be finished before May started. For the candidates he'll be rated 2805.  He's going to have about 6 weeks to get ready for the candidates. That was a brutal schedule during April, do y'all think that's enough time to rest and prepare for that event?

Practice games are a good way to prepare.

He's played 28 games in April now.  Not sure if that helps or hurts him.  It's possible to play too much chess and get tired/burned out.  The candidates start in mid june, so minus travel time he's gonna have about 6 weeks with no tournaments.
