Magnus Carlsen, GOAT in any Chess. Carlsen will win the Grand Slam Tour in December, I am very confident about that.

Go guki go ❤️ 🥰

It very unfortunate the choice of the board background color in live position board during the streaming. Specially when the last position is highlighted for black pieces in dark squares. There is not too much contrast to diferenciare black from dark gray. If something is working don’t change it. Freestyle wants to be so different sometimes that they loose common sense, like in this case in my opinion. What do you think?

我好像发现了一个bug,在第12回合的时候我应该是不满足O-O-O的条件,但是我却发现可以O-O-O,这是为什么?这应该是个bug吧?

Hi

DreamscapeHorizons

Is the starting position the same for game 2 or new position each game?

Lets go Gukesh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DreamscapeHorizons

If Gukesh doesn't win game 2 tomorrow against Fabi then it's over for him.

Classical time controls are great for freestyle. All that extra time is needed early on just to get familiar with the starting positions. The prize fund is way up there, 200,000 for 1st and 140,000 for 2nd is better than other events except for world championship. I hope from a business perspective they're able to get/keep/attract sponsors, the only way they can do that is if more people watch this than the other events.

I think Magnus will win since he is more competitive than the others. Alireza has a shot at it, depending on how he plays tomorrow. This variant of chess is more exciting than classical chess, and I hope they continue promoting it and possibly replacing classical chess, where up to 20 or 25 moves, is memorization and stifles creativity.
