Just wondering, while deciding which of the two players, playing a game , would play with white or black as per the rating gap, which rating (or elo) will be considered? Is it the one which was listed at the beginning of the tournament or their ratings at the time of the certain game ?!
Rating written in the pots cuz for eg I was higher rates than USA when the pots were made now he is rated higher yet I played black against him according to the pots rating.
But then again if you go by current rating I'm ok with that.

Noo!! The group stage matches are 10 mins each. The knockout stage matches (from r32 to semi finals are 15|10 and the final will be a 30 minute game.
You can keep them still! I just suggested that as this tournament is a mix of chess and football, a real analysis AND a football commentary would be great. But if this is too much work you don't have to do anything. But as I said I could help you with the chess analysis
