2 1 is Bullet. Those who spend a lot of time playing Bullet get pretty good at it. 3 0 is Blitz, the fastest Blitz possible. Those players are typically being challenged by that time control. That's my simple-minded guess at what might be happening - assuming your observation is not simply an anecdote.
2/1 chess
2/1 is a very different game from 3/0 and especially 1/0. It's either you're not adjusted to that pace yet (the clock is a huge deal as you know) or maybe just a few bad runs have made a false impression?
I'm playing chess from very long time and I sggest you to look all pieces in the game carefully before move. you should make a drawing in your mind of a king's castle which you have to destroy but some soldiers, rooks, knights, bishops are their as defence.I make you sure that this will improve your game.

Ok I have a query about that time control, I am not being full of my self but I play at about a 1500 uscf and do roughly the same on here. My question is what is up with 2/1 players? It seems everyone around 1300/1400 plays at about 1600+ everyone is tough I get a hard game no matter who it is it seems. This doesnt happen in 3 minute and not in 1 minute. Do all the 2/1ers see this or am I off my rocker.
