If I had a dollar for every time I've had an opponent who hung a back-rank mate in an otherwise completely winning position while they were not in any sort of time trouble whatsoever, I'd have enough money to get a diamond membership for at least a month. There's still a whole lot of fun and frustration to be had in the lower-middle tier of Rapid, and apparently upper-tier Blitz as well.

According to the stats there are 20k+ of 2300 blitz players here, why call them all trash?
