it's typical for the average correspondence game here to last at least a month.if u don't like the slowness of it...then I suggest either creating more games to keep yourself busy or just play live chess.

Dear members,
Yesterday (24/1/12) I started a min. 1 move per day game. I playing white moved and my opponent replied with a move after approx. 23 hours. I see he has no other games on the go. I appreciate it is early days but does anyone think it is possible that he or she is under the impression that you can only move once in 24 hours? My opponent has no reIcord of any previous games and joined in November. I cannot name him and feel it would be rude and patronising to ask if there has been a 'misunderstanding' of the rules. If so the game could go on for months! Any suggestions?
