Why would that make them think you are toxic...they look at actions first. At least I do.
2700 Puzzles!

I am glad you changed the profile, it doesn't look like a tree anymore
You are crazy, man...What do you have against me?

Hey, I don't know what all the drama is about but 2700 is great! This means you can calculate well. yes it's true puzzle rating doesn't mean a lot, but it can help you improve. So Congrats!

Exactly

@Nightly-Knight congrats on 2700! I quit doing puzzles a while ago but got back into doing them. I used to be 2600 but dropped a lot. I know how hard puzzles can be so 2700 is no joke.

Anyone with 2700 puzzle rating has strong potential and can become a good player if they are not already.
pretty obvious no?

The argument had nothing to do with chess… but you’re right. We stopped.

I don't know. He corrected me when I used proper grammar because he said proper grammar isn't proper on a chess site...
For the last time it was proper grammar, but who gives a s about proper grammar on a chess site. You can talk informally.
BUT I CHOSE TO USE IT LOL
*meditates*
oh my god this discussion is so cringe!!11!!1!1
It does help you get better, but you do have to know how to use that ability. If you plan on 3 or 5 min blitz, I recommend you spend time on puzzle battle or puzzle rush. Our Survival Ratings are the same btw.
Just about all puzzles I complete on the site are done in less than a minute. 90% in 30 seconds. On top of getting puzzles down I am learning to do it fast. I was told a few days back that I should take time because I have a 43% correct rate (Is that bad?) I think I have a bad habit of going before I think it through.
Anyway, yes I practice tactics and do it very fast. I do 3 puzzles per minute sometimes. A lot of the time I get it wrong, but I always go back and find the answer...with or without hints.
How did you get your rating that high with only 43% correct ? Don't they knock off quite a few points when you get it wrong?

Some times, they give you 1 point for getting it wrong, but in some cases, you can get 5 or even more. It depends on how you completed and what puzzle it is.
Sounds like I've been going about this all wrong. I get the vast majority right, but I take too long sometimes and they really ding me when I get one wrong, like -16. I rarely get the time bonuses. I'm getting faster, but I really hate missing one, guess I have a mental block to get around.

@seattlewag, I have the opposite problem as you. I try and do the problem before the time bonus runs out...If you look at my puzzles you can see that I do just about all of them in less than a minute.
And also, about the 43% right...Most of the time when I am getting them wrong I get +5 or +1, one time I got +6. Mostly because I had played the first couple moves right but the last move wrong. In this case they add points to you because you had the general idea.

That's debatable...I am doing a total grind in Puzzles these days until October (When my diamond runs out) then I am going to see how it effected my play.
You can follow my Puzzle Journey on my Blog.
No idea..it seems way too easy for a 2300
People probably didn't see the white queen in that puzzle.
